Are you licensed and insured?

JVS Christmas Lighting is a licensed and fully insured New Jersey home improvement contractor. Insurance information is included with emailed quotes, and proof of insurance is available upon request.

What areas do you serve?

JVS serves residential and commercial clients throughout Bergen County and the surrounding Northern New Jersey communities, as well as Rockland County, NY.

Do I need to supply the lights?

No. JVS supplies the professional-grade lighting, décor, installation materials, equipment, design, installation, in-season support, removal and applicable off-season storage.

What happens if my lights go out?

Clients are covered by JVS In-Season Elf Support for applicable issues involving JVS-supplied lighting and décor. Online support requests create a service work order for the Elf Tech team.

Do you store the lights and décor?

Off-season storage is included with multi-year JVS Christmas Lighting programs. One-year programs include professional removal, with the option to renew for the following season.

How long has JVS Christmas Lighting been in business?

JVS Christmas Lighting was founded in 2005 and has 21+ years of professional holiday lighting and decorating experience.

Do I own the lights and décor?

No. JVS operates an all-lease seasonal holiday decorating program. JVS-supplied seasonal lighting, greenery and décor remain JVS property.

What type of lights and materials do you use?

JVS uses commercial-grade lighting, cords, connectors, mounting materials and décor specifically selected for professional Christmas installations.

Do I have to turn the lights on and off every night?

No. JVS installs outdoor-rated automatic solar/photo-sensor timers and programs them during installation.

When is the best time to schedule holiday light installation?

Late September through October is the ideal installation window. Earlier installations generally provide better weather conditions and help clients get ahead of the busy November rush. JVS begins accepting reservations as early as August.
