When is the best time to schedule holiday light installation?
Late September through October is the ideal installation window. Earlier installations generally provide better weather conditions and help clients get ahead of the busy November rush. JVS begins accepting reservations as early as August.
How quickly will I receive my quote?
Online quote requests are typically reviewed within minutes, with most quotes provided within an hour or sooner during normal business hours. Quotes also include JVS Holiday Concepts design software so clients can see a visual concept of the proposed display before installation. Larger or more complex projects may require an on-site consultation.
How soon after my quote is approved can you install?
Once the quote is approved and the installation is reserved, JVS coordinates the preferred installation timeframe based on availability, route scheduling and weather. November through early December fills quickly, so early reservations are strongly recommended.
What does holiday lighting installation cost?
Professional Christmas lighting programs typically start at $2,000 and go up based on the size, design, and scope of the display. Every project is custom designed and receives a detailed quote before work begins.
Are financing options available?
Flexible payment options may be available at checkout through Stripe, including Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay, subject to eligibility and provider terms.
Is there a contract I have to sign?
Yes. JVS quotes include a written service agreement covering the selected design, scope, pricing, service terms and insurance information. JVS offers 1-year, 2-year and 3-year seasonal service agreements, with additional pricing benefits available for longer commitments.
Can you install or take down on a specific date?
JVS does its best to accommodate preferred installation and removal timeframes, but reservations should be made well in advance. Scheduling is based on client preferences, routing, weather and seasonal availability.
Are you licensed and insured?
JVS Christmas Lighting is a licensed and fully insured New Jersey home improvement contractor. Insurance information is included with emailed quotes, and proof of insurance is available upon request.

Do I need to supply the lights?
No. JVS supplies the professional-grade lighting, décor, installation materials, equipment, design, installation, in-season support, removal and applicable off-season storage.
